Celebrations marking Creedence Clearwater Revival’s 50th anniversary kicked off with the release of the first-ever video for their classic song “Fortunate Son.”
Originally released in 1969, “Fortunate Son” immediately became an anti-Vietnam War anthem. Writer John Fogerty had been inspired by his own experience in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Fogerty will play the SOEC in Penticton in a Might K presentation on Saturday, July 14th. Tickets are available at valleyfirsttix.com.
